Equal parts impressive and disappointing
Check-in was a breeze! ! The friendly staff made our experience enjoyable.
The room had serious cleanliness issues, with mold and a persistent stale odor, which was quite off-putting.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our stay for a couple of nights. The location was convenient, and the nearby restaurants offered fresh seafood choices. However, we faced issues with the deposit policy for regular guests, which felt unnecessary. Slight improvements in room cleanliness would elevate the experience.

Good option for budget travelers
I stayed for two nights and found the King Room non-smoking decent for the price. It was cleaner than my last visit, and the staff were a bit more friendly this time around, though they still need a smile when greeting guests. However, the noise from doors closing could be bothersome and made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

would happily return
The king room was clean and had a flat-screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The private bathroom was stocked with free toiletries and had a walk-in shower. Air conditioning kept the room cool. Loved the outdoor swimming pool! Check-in was super quick with no hidden fees. Breakfast was basic but okay, with just cereal and waffles.

Family-Friendly Stay but Not Cheap
The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a good time talking with other guests who were all in vacation mode and sharing ideas on where to go. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room for those late-night snacks after the kids were asleep.
it wasn't exactly affordable but still acceptable.

During my stay at Hathaway Inn, I appreciated the clean facility and the accommodating staff who efficiently assisted with my work needs. The location was convenient to main attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The staff members were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I appreciated the fast check-in process. My King Room was clean and had a decent layout, but the pillows were quite small and uncomfortable. The bathroom could use some updates, and it lacked adequate towels for four people. Breakfast options were very limited, with no hot items available. Overall, a decent budget option, but a bit of attention to details would make a big difference.

The local seafood scene blew my mind! I found some killer shrimp tacos and freshly caught fish that were pure magic. Plus, check-in was a breeze and the room was nice and clean. I felt right at home in the vibe of Panama City.
The only hiccup was no breakfast, which would’ve helped with my always-hungry toddlers.
